TAKE ACTION

The climate crisis requires a global response.  We invite choirs and all forms of singing groups from any and all countries to join our campaign. This is a fun, rewarding, no cost, non-partisan Campaign, bringing together young voices to promote awareness of the climate crisis and inspire action.  No experience or special equipment is required. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a professional recording and video side-by-side with established artists. There are many ways each of us can make a difference. Teaming up with a local organization is a great way to get engaged.

Here are three critical areas for addressing the climate crisis:

  •  1) Civic engagement at the local and national levels  (in the US, this includes registering voters including young people.  Headcount provides tools for US voter registration drives};
  •  2) Electrification and reduction of fossil fuels in homes, schools and other community facilities.  (Rewiring America has useful information and guidance, and for US residents they have a fantastic, easy tool that informs folks about the financial incentives in the Inflation Reduction Act); and
  • 3) Improve climate change education in schools and informal learning environments (check out the following websites for great information:Climate Science ,the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication), The Climate Action Project and National Environmental Education Foundation’s Climate Superstars)
