Laurie Goldman

Laurie Goldman serves as Strategic Advisor to The ClimateMusic Project and has worked with the organization since 2016, including past service on the Executive Team. Laurie has held senior positions in academia, the private sector, and the federal government. 

At UC Berkeley, Laurie managed campus-wide international strategy as Deputy Director of the Global Engagement Office and oversaw partnerships with leading international academic institutions.  

As part of her broader public policy remit at Levi Strauss, Laurie headed global trade policy and was appointed to the Obama Administration’s Trade Advisory Committee. She also served on industry boards including the National Center for APEC, European Branded Clothing Alliance, and U.S. Fashion Industry Association. Past positions include service as a trade negotiator for the U.S. Department of Commerce and with the Office of Public Affairs at UC Berkeley.  

Laurie holds masters’ degree from George Washington University and an undergraduate degree from Tufts University.
