Weidong Yang founded Kinetech Arts, a non-profit company bridging dance, science and technology; and Kineviz, creating data visualization, analytics solution for large complex data set in VR. He received Ph. D. in Physics and M. S. in Computer Science. He has been granted ten US patents and has over 20 peer reviewed publications. He was a Djerassi resident artist and YBCA fellow in 2016.
